I am happy that you found the bad connections. The fact that you already found breaks at 6 scotchlocks strengthens my oppinion that they are just a quick and comfortable solution, but are not reliable on time. They should be prohibited to use by professionals. But evidently, for them Scotchlocks garantee troubleshooting hours as they degrade more or less fast.

Let me know how many bad connection you finally found. To be correct you should determine the resistance of each Scotchlock from the adjacent connections or make difference calculation.

I also also would not replace the whole cable if you find the connections, but just solder the connections and if possible insulate them. If the wire should be highly oxidized (so that it does not easily wet with the liquid solder, you can deoxidize it with diluted hydrochloric acid (3-5 %). But rinse with plenty of water to avoid later corrosion and dry before soldering. Twisted wire is more difficult to rinse than solid wire.

Apologies for posting in English.

I fear I have the same problem as Kolaf and I have followed the excellent help on here but no luck.

1 week ago my 230ACX cut through the guide wire. I have repaired the break but the Green LED is flashing at 2 seconds.

I have checked the repair and it is fine.

I have disconnected both sides of the guide wire and have 4 Ohms resistance. With one side connected to the ground charger I have 40 Ohms.

The mower has been running for 4 years with no problems.

The break in the wire was a simple cut made by the mower which of course stopped immediately so I could see there was only one break.

I have tried the AM radio test and can follow the radio sound around most of the guide wire but it does fade and it not terribly conclusive.

The green LED is still flashing at 2 seconds.

If I were you I would start from the beginning.
A flashing green LED should identify a peripheral interruption, not a guide interruption.

So, first of all, remove all cables and connect a flying cable between the 2 peripheral terminals.
The LED should be solid green.

Then ...next steps :-)

I have made a loop and joined the two boundary connections and the green led is still flashing

I have turned off the supply power for 5 minutes too but that has not worked.
